Haematology and Transplant Support is an independent charity complementing the work of the Christie Charity in the North West. The HaTS team seek to make a difference and help the lives of cancer patients on their treatment journey, by enhancing the support and care provided to them whilst on The Christie Haematology and Transplant Unit and Palatine Treatment Ward. This division of the Christie hospital provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of cancers of the blood and lymphatic system including leukaemia, lymphoma and bone marrow.

HaTS recognises that patients and their carers often require a little extra support which is outside of NHS resources – the funds raised by the charity are used to provide patients with financial assistance, travel expenses, alternative complementary therapies and items and facilities that improve patients experience on the ward.

This is one of many charitable activities undertaken by MGF to support the communities in which we operate. For more information about MGF’s charitable activities please browse our websites news section or contact our Head Office on 01942 402 700.
