Under the strain of the Covid-19 pandemic, the past year has been hard on us all, and charities are feeling the strain more than ever with people limiting their donations to live more frugally.
February marks the 40-year anniversary since MGF’s conception in 1981, and to celebrate our birthday we are running a black box campaign to raise money and awareness for local charities.
Each of our 10 shoring depots has chosen a charity that is close to their team’s heart. For many reasons there have been charities chosen that have supported our people through difficult times, and we want to give something back.
Over the duration of 12 months, one standard trench box from each depot will be sprayed black and branded with the relevant charity’s logo where it will advertise and raise awareness for the charity whilst on site across the region. MGF will be donating the proceeds of each box to the charity that the depot has chosen, to support and give back to the local organisations that provide support to so many people.
The boxes will be selected at random from the hire fleet and sent far and wide across each region. If you see one of our boxes, perhaps spare a thought for the incredible work they do and look to see if there are any ways that you too could show your support.
