Recently, our Technical Sales, John Maguire put on his walking boots and took to the hills on a mighty hike to raise money for charity.
John took on the challenge to help Macmillan Cancer Support to raise awareness and funds for life saving care. Macmillan help to support all who have been affected by cancer, from those suffering to those who have lost loved ones, they aim to help everyone.
Macmillan are hosting many hikes.
Macmillan are hosting 12 sponsored hikes across the UK, with the option to take on a full or half marathon. These hikes have regular pit stops and marshals to support along the journey.
John took on the challenge in memory of loved ones and raised an impressive £2000. The hike took place on the 17th June on the Lake District.
