Members of the MGF team have been raising money and awareness of the male health crisis by growing a moustache this November!
Employees at Head Office, Wigan and Foundation House have raised money for the Movember charity foundation. Movember aims to raise funds to tackle the concept that men die an average of 4.5 years younger than women due to health-related reasons. Testicular and prostate cancers and suicide are not talked about enough when the conversation turns to men’s health and Movember intends to change that.
“Movember is a simple way to spread awareness of Men’s health and the fact that we can all take action to live healthier, happier and longer lives.
“Don’t be afraid to stand up and talk to somebody, help is always available through friends and support networks.”

Each year, more than 4,300 men die by suicide in the UK. Testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men in the UK and every 45 minutes a man in the UK will die of prostate cancer.
