As the cost of living crisis deepens and the days have gotten colder, this festive season, our depots and employees have been giving back to their communities and the UK as a whole.
From Durham to Exeter, our depots have been making use of Christmas jumper days, toy and foodbank donations and more to lighten the load for the less fortunate this winter. Below are some of the highlights across the country!
This Christmas has been no different, as the staff in Yorkshire threw a Christmas jumper day that raised £40 for the Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity.
At Head Office, in Wigan, our staff put on a Christmas Jumper day, raising money for Hits Radio’s Cash for Kids Charity.
December also marked Head Office’s 13th Atherton & Leigh Foodbank drop, supplying food and more to the local community.
The offices also put together a Mission Christmas toy drop for less fortunate local children this Christmas.
Our Bristol depot came together this festive season and raised £60 from a Christmas Jumper day!
This was donated to the Save the Children Charity, a foundation that keeps children around the world fed, healthy and in education.
At our Rugeley depot, in the midlands, our staff raised £57 with a Christmas jumper day.
They also went on to donate generously to the Trussell Trust Rugeley Foodbank with tinned food, dry pasta and more!
After a Christmas jumper day, our Durham depot, in the North East, raised money for a charity close to their heart, the Border Collie Trust, a foundation that facilitates the Rescuing and rehoming of Border Collies and collie crosses throughout the UK.
