Regional Engineering Manager, Rob Eagles, is taking on the mammoth challenge of continuously running and walking laps of Sefton Park, Liverpool for 24-hours!
Rob regularly participates in fundraising activities for various charities but given the particular difficulties that smaller businesses and charities have faced over the pandemic, this year Rob has pledged his donation to Molly Olly’s Wishes.
Dedicated to supporting children with life threatening or life limiting diseases, Molly Olly’s Wishes grants individual wishes and donates therapeutic toys and books to children and hospitals across the UK. Rob first heard about the wonderful work that Molly Olly’s Wishes were doing through a paediatric friend who has also recently supported them.
On Good Friday at 9am, Rob will be setting off on a 2.2mile lap of the beautiful Sefton Park… but not just one lap… he won’t stop until he has been running (or walking!) the loop for 24-hours.
I’m sure we can all agree that this is an incredible commendable effort – if you’re local, perhaps join Rob for a lap or two, and if possible please donate to support Molly Olly’s Wishes.
