This month, our Depot Operations Manager, David Nuttall took on the challenge Dogs Trust run 62 miles in the month of July to raise money for the charity.
Dogs Trust
Dogs Trust is the UK’s leading dog welfare charity to support dogs to live their best life – and find a happy forever new home. In 1891, Dogs Trust began as the National Canine Defence League at Crufts founded by Lady Gertrude Stock to campaign against cruel practices on canines. Then in 2003 the National Canine Defence League changed its name to Dogs Trust and opened their first rehoming centre in London – Dogs Trust West London in Harefield in 2006 and since then have opened centres up in 20+ locations around the UK.

Dogs Trust are running an event where you run 62 miles (that’s 2 miles a day!) throughout the month of July to help them provide life changing care and forever homes for more dogs in need.
David is completing this challenge as he believes it’s truly a worthy cause, having two dogs of his own has given him the determination to carry out this challenge. He wants to do as much as possible to ensure that he can play his part in helping to providing shelter and care for dogs that are in need.
David has raised £105 for the charity and completed his challenge of running 62 miles! Congratulations to David on his achievement! Help support David and this amazing charity.
