A Successful Year for Our Shoring Division!

Over the course of 2023, our staff have worked hard in order to deliver our products and services to our customers.

This year, our Shoring Division has seen the addition of a new product added into our fleet as well as delivering many successful solutions for our customers projects, our early involvement in projects allow our teams to see the project from the design stage, all the way up to our kit being in the ground.

As the we approach a new year, we are looking aback at some of the highlights for our Shoring Division.

Looking back at the shoring divisions works with Aarsleff

May saw the publication of our joint venture with Aarsleff, a strong working relationship between MGF and Aarsleff was key to the success of our involvement in this project.

Our relationship with Aarsleff allowed us to provide a temporary king post design that worked in combination with other planned works for a successful installation.

Having good working relationships with our customers is very important to us at MGF as it allows for better collaboration.

In September, we launched our NEW 203 UC+ range into our fleet.

This new range of hydraulic bracing is suitable for medium to large cofferdams and trenches and is capable of achieving 3m to 11m clear spans. The 203 UC+ is compatible with our existing 203 UC Brace to ensure efficient frame designs. The use of high grade steel strengthening plates welded on the extensions provides additional strength whilst minimising weight, allowing for a more economical design.

In October, we released our case study on the work we did with Keltbray at Bishops Avenue, setting the foundations for a 92 home apartment block.

We were tasked with providing a propping arrangement to a perimeter 880mm diameter secant piled wall to facilitate the bulk excavation and construction of a 12m deep basement. The duration of the scheme was approximately 11 months.
