MGF Yard Operative Louis Greene from our London City Depot is making his debut representing the England Amateur Boxing Squad against Ireland on Friday 21st February 2014.
Yard Operative by day, light welter weight amateur boxer Louis, now 21, has had numerous successes in his amateur career to date with titles including;
– Golden Glove Champion
– European Light Weight Champion
– Haringey Box Cup
– Home Counties Champion
– Twice Southern Counties Champion
– Twice Kent Champion
His success has been sustained through an absolute commitment to his training and he actually shares a sparring partner with former WBA Heavyweight Champion David ‘The Hayemaker’ Haye.
Louis grew up in Kent and is son to Penny Lloyd MGFs London City Branch Administrator and John Greene, who is also his coach.
Louis has been a valued member of the team at MGF London City for the past four years and the whole of MGF nationally are behind him and wish him the best of luck as he makes his debut for the England.
