We are once again thrilled to announce that MGF have been presented with the RoSPA gold award for demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) dub their vision as “life, free from serious accidental injury” and aim to complete their mission statement: “Exchanging life-enhancing skills and knowledge to reduce serious accidental injuries.” They describe this vision as an attempt to enable healthy, active lives through skills and knowledge whilst also seeking reasonable limits to potential harms that ensure lives can be lived unhindered and unburdened.

MGF has always strived to create safe working conditions on all occasions. Our SHEQ team works closely with our growing number of depots across the country to make sure these conditions are set company wide. The team also works with members of staff from other departments to improve operational safety and onsite practices.
As construction is recognised as one of the most dangerous industries to work in within the UK, it is crucial that safety practices are reviewed and improved on a consistent basis.
“ROSPA is recognised worldwide as a leader in the promotion of health, safety and ultimately, accident prevention. By maintaining our Gold Membership status, we are maintaining professionally recognised standards of excellence. Having ROSPA membership allows us to utilise their campaign / training material and also provides assurance to our customers and stakeholders that MGF has another industry recognised accreditation for health and safety.”
