We are delighted to announce that MGF have achieved Gold membership status with the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS).
SCSS aim to lead the construction industry into a more sustainable future through training, events and collaboration between major contractors and suppliers. Their vision is to deliver “world class collaboration, enabling a sustainable built environment” through their values of being “collaborative, progressive, inspirational and inclusive”.
MGF first joined the school in 2012 with the aim of further understanding our industry’s challenges through the use of a wide range of resources to improve relationships with interested parties, aligning with them to assist in delivering their sustainability agendas. Since then, MGF have progressed from being members, achieving Bronze, Silver and now the highest level – Gold membership.
MGF have a dedicated, senior team who are committed to ensuring continuous engagement with the SCSS, raising internal and external awareness to capitalise on the available resources. Over the years, MGF have widened the scope of employees and departments involved in with the school, influencing strategic and tactical objectives to enhance professional development.
To achieve Gold membership status, the SCSS requires companies to have…
• Completed a re-assessment in the past 6 months
• Used at least 10 resources in the last 6 months
• Demonstrated an increase in sustainability competence
• Actively shared their knowledge and expertise with other members
