As the cost of living continues to rapidly increase, MGF’s head office has been regularly collecting donations from our generous staff for a local foodbank.
Originating from a Christmas campaign that promoted giving back to the community, it seems the spirit of giving has remained long into the new year.
Since December 2021, MGF have been making regular drop-offs to the Atherton & Leigh foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust. This charity’s aim is to end hunger and poverty in the UK. Their mission involves the provision of emergency food and support by way of 1,200 food bank centres across the UK and by challenging the structural issues that lock people into poverty.
MGF Fleet Manager, Michael Ashcroft has been making regular trips to the foodbank and has seen the difference the donations have been making first hand.
