In just over two months’ time on Wednesday 1st July 2015, MGF will commence trading at our 9th operational Depot to be based in Stanton, East Anglia.
Over the past 34 years MGF has been expanding to meet the growing needs of the UK construction industry. The East Anglia Depot further expands our geographical coverage of England and will be the latest Depot to open offering a regional service with the support of the national MGF hire network, manufacturing and temporary works engineering facilities.
Led by Regional Manager Peter Dunnion and Operations Manager Kevin Hallett, the Depot will provide a full range of excavation support equipment, confined space entry safety equipment and pipe stoppers together with support and guidance from technical sales, which will be led by Hannah Hamilton fully supported by MGF’s temporary works design services.
It is the latest project in the continued investment into the long term sustainability of the MGF business and follows the opening of our Exeter Depot in 2014. Regional Director Brendan O’Hara commented “We have been servicing the Anglian region for a number of years via our Midlands, Hertfordshire and Dartford Depots, supporting our customers in predominantly the water, housing and highways sectors and also working with drainage boards and the Environment Agency. The Depot opening will strengthen our service through a regional presence that will provide access for regionally based contractors in the area, and allow our teams to better meet the regional needs of our key customers operating on a national basis”
Over the next two months the Depot team will be completing preparations for full operational readiness including stocking up on a wide range of excavation support systems and ancillary products and completing any final recruitment and training. In the mean time customers will continue to receive a full service from our existing Depots. Kevin Hallett and his Sales team are now actively engaging with customers to firmly establish the East Anglia business.
