MGF Obtains Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) Membership

After a recent audit at our Astley depot, we are proud to announce that MGF has been selected as a Development Member of the Association for The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA). This status of membership applies for a maximum of 2 years, during which time we will take the necessary steps to achieve full membership as outlined by the LEEA development plan.

LEEA itself is an established and respected representative body with over 70 years experience in the worldwide lifting industry. The organisation is involved in training and setting standards, as well as health and safety, the provision of technical and legal advice and the development of examination and licensing systems.

MGF will benefit from the opportunity to participate in activities organised by the association and socialise with other members within the industry, unlimited access to all the latest technical, legal and safety information required to operate successfully in the lifting equipment industry, among many other advantages associated with being a member.

MGF’s Health & Safety Manager, Heath McHugh, says;

‘Membership of LEEA will help MGF in continually improving our lifting equipment capabilities and the ability to demonstrate the required level of competence to our customer.’

Well done to all involved with gaining this membership.
