MGF Upgrade all Designs With an Autodesk Revit 3D Drawing

Over recent years the industry has begun to embrace the various digital innovations with a view to improving the design/build process.

As a supplier, MGF’s response to this was to transform all their drawing output from 2D AutoCAD to 3D Revit.  By embracing this technology, we can ensure our customers reap the various benefits Revit offers such as:

– Clearer visibility of the scheme

– Auto scheduling of equipment specified

– Increased efficiency

– Excellent visual for aiding with tenders

– Aids the customer with ‘clash detection’ – reducing unnecessary project costs

Using Autodesk Revit enables MGF and our customers to drive efficiency and accuracy during projects between companies with all contributors able to work together within the model to make smarter decisions and produce the best outcome. [1]

MGF have utilised all the above benefits, including its ability to auto schedule our hire fleet, to reduce the risk of mistakes when selecting equipment and improving overall communication between MGF’s hire desks and site teams.

In addition to our digital transformation, as a business we have invested a considerable amount of time and effort in developing initiatives to improve the way we manage our engineering output, with the end goal of improving our efficiency and ultimately improving our customer’s experience with MGF. All these launches now fall under the MiDesign suite.
