Over the last 17 years, Steve has made many contributions to the temporary works industry in the areas of digital best practice, excavation support best practice, and applying structural Eurocodes to temporary works product design. He is heavily involved with several Universities, providing guest lectures and promoting stronger links with the industry.

The event, held at The Institution of Structural Engineers in London, was packed with practical guidance that demonstrated how Temporary Work professionals are already embracing digital technologies and processes. Covering Digital Temporary Works, the event featured a deep dive into how these digital technologies are currently used.

Steve has been working with universities, offering summer placements within the engineering department at MGF, which have been successful in allowing students the time to immerse themselves in the working world of engineering, giving them the chance to work alongside qualified engineers on real projects.
