In 2019, we set out to transform the way that Lifting and Safety solutions were delivered across the construction industry. What began as a business plan soon became a reality, approved by the Board of Directors and driven by a selected team of specialists determined to raise standards and deliver exceptional service. Today, that vision have been recognised at the highest level, with MGF proudly winning the LEEA Excellence in Service Innovation Award, and coming runners-up in both Excellence in People Development and Excellence in Lifting Operations.
This achievement marks a major milestone for our Lifting and Safety Division, which has grown from a small fleet of ancillary products into a trusted provider of lifting solutions at every level of the industry. The award celebrates our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and customer focused engineering.
The LEEA Excellence in Service Innovation Award is presented to organisations that demonstrate outstanding creativity and technical achievements in lifting operations. For MGF, this recognition reflects our ability to respond to real-world challenges with practical, engineered solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

A key example of this innovation is Lifting by Design, a service introduced to bridge the gap between off-the-shelf lifting equipment and fully bespoke systems. By repurposing components from our existing fleet, such as our 200 Series shoring beams and structural steel components and applying advanced engineering principles, we create tailored lifting arrangements that meet exact project requirements.

From underslung beams for complex lifts to bespoke beam arrangements for offset loads, Lifting by Design has helped customers overcome challenges that traditional solutions could not address. It’s a practical, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible way to deliver bespoke lifting solutions.
This is not the first time we have been honoured by LEEA. In 2023, we received an award in collaboration with Ainscough for an ‘immensely complex’ lifting operation during the Anfield Road expansion project. Two years later, the 2025 LEEA awards were held at Anfield Stadium, where we proudly collected our second award. To achieve this level of recognition from the governing body of the lifting industry within such a short timeframe is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team.
Winning the Excellence in Service Innovation Award reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement. It demonstrates what can be achieved with the right people, the right mindset, and a relentless focus on safety and sustainability.
