Looking Back at Our East Anglia Open Day
On Tuesday 12th May, MGF welcomed customers from across the East Anglia region to its Open Day, delivering a valuable opportunity to connect, share expertise and strengthen relationships.Â
The event brought customers closer to the MGF team, giving them a clearer understanding of the business, its capabilities and the people behind it. Throughout the day, attendees engaged directly with MGF’s engineers, sales teams and specialists, building relationships with both new and existing customers.Â
A key focus was sharing practical insight into the challenges faced on site. A series of short talks covered core areas of MGF’s offering, including temporary works, carbon reporting, design and digital engineering, new product developments and technical sales support. These sessions demonstrated MGF’s commitment to delivering safe, compliant and efficient solutions, supported by its in-house engineering expertise. Local case studies added context, showing how these solutions are applied across projects in the region. Â
Alongside the technical content, attendees also heard from MGF’s charity partner, The Lighthouse Charity, and how businesses can support the important work they do. During the day, attendees were able to get hands-on with equipment and discuss specific project requirements with the team, supporting a practical, solution-led approach to customer engagement.Â
The Open Day also gave customers the opportunity to see the results of MGF’s continued investment in the region. The Stanton depot has recently undergone a significant two-phase redevelopment, including a 1800m² yard expansion, improved layout and enhanced facilities. These upgrades support safer operations, improved logistics and increased equipment availability, helping to deliver even greater efficiency and consistency for customers across East Anglia.Â
The day created space for open conversation, whether reconnecting with long-standing customers or introducing new contacts to MGF for the first time and the presence of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, The Lighthouse Charity, C&C Training, VISION and CITB demonstrated the strength of collaboration across the region and the value of bringing industry together.Â
And, of course, no MGF Open Day would be complete without a hog roast, providing the perfect setting to continue conversations and round off an enjoyable and successful event in the sunshine.Â
MGF looks forward to continuing to support customers across East Anglia and building on the relationships developed during the day.Â
