Who Can Apply?
Our apprenticeship pathways are designed for school leavers and beyond. While they’re often associated with Year 11 and Year 13 leavers, the reality is more flexible:
- Level 3 apprenticeships are ideal for those aged 16–18 and are equivalent to A-levels. This route is a great starting point for school leavers looking to gain practical experience while continuing their education.
- Level 6 apprenticeships typically follow on from a Level 3 qualification, A-levels, or T-levels, and are often suited to those aged 18–24. This advanced route leads to a full bachelor’s degree with honours — the same qualification typically achieved through full-time university study. The key difference is that our route combines academic learning with real-world work experience

With an industry shortage of skilled workers, apprenticeships play a key role in bridging the gap. Our Grass Routes Apprenticeship Programme is a fully funded career rote for school leavers (Year 11’s and 13’s). the apprenticeship route will develop the necessary skills and experience, to help achieve a successful career. The apprenticeship route encompasses the highest level of education whilst incorporating hands on work experience. Therefore, working and learning in parallel to gain maximum knowledge and experience.
