Our engineering services capabilities
Our engineering services support a wide range of temporary works applications, including pipe, cable, and tank installations, basements, cofferdams, bridge jacking, needling, façade retention, and propping. We also offer advanced digital collaboration through 3D and 4D modelling, helping, customers visualise outcomes, reduce risk, and streamline coordination across project teams.
For more complex or specialist projects, we offer additional technical support services such as thrust wall and foundation design, prop load monitoring, Network Rail CRE roles, and Local Authority AIP Submissions. Every service we provide is underpinned by a commitment to excellence, responsiveness, and real world practicality.

Project Lead Engineering

Our Digital Management Systems (DMS) ensures robust competency based checks, adhering to industry standards like CDM 2015 and BS5975:2024. This system offers full visibility throughout the design process, for both engineers and customers. Whether responding to an emergency or planning a complex excavation, we bring clarity, confidence, and collaboration every step of the way.
Our digitally automated Standard Solutions give you a safe, practical temporary works (TW) design in a fraction of the time needed for a bespoke solution.
Every solution is developed and checked in line with BS5975:2024 and incorporates best practice health and safety – so while we work quickly, you can have complete confidence in the quality
Lunch & learn
Lunch and Learns allow MGF to demonstrate what we are currently working on or have worked on that is relevant to your sector. It serves as a platform for us to demonstrate our projects, research and development and successes.
However, the key focus is to provide a comfortable environment where your employees can better understand our products, how they work and for us to answer any questions you may have.
MGF consider Lunch & Learn to be a useful tool for further education on our product and service offering, to aid you in improving safety on site.
In order to make these sessions as accessible as possible, a virtual option is available. We tailor each session so it’s bespoke to your specific requirements covering topics from general shoring awareness through to more in-depth discussions about early engagement, value engineering and latest proprietary temporary support systems.
