Climate change and the reduction of carbon are at the forefront of global discussion with governments setting targets for reducing emissions to limit the increase of global temperatures.
As a supplier to the construction industry, MGF are conscious of the impacts our processes have on the environment, whether it be the consumption of natural resources in the manufacturing of products, or the emissions of greenhouse gases from our industrial and transport activities. As a responsible company, we are fully committed to reducing such impacts and continually improving our mitigation measures to preserve the environment for future generations.
Our approach to reducing carbon focuses on the implementing innovative technology, efficient practices, and low carbon products and solutions. Although a reduction in carbon alone will not mitigate all our environmental impacts, MGF aims to continually reduce carbon emissions year on year with specific initiatives set out in our short term Road Map to Net Zero.
As part of our wider sustainability strategy “Creating safe work environments for a sustainable Future”, MGF will seek to engage with all stakeholders, including our customers, supply chain, employees and local communities to assist them in meeting their own carbon commitments.
