A simple to assemble, two-sided mechanical shield system designed for use in trenches up to 5.0m deep and 3.2m wide.
  • High clearance rear strut to accommodate laid service
  • Front cutting edge to ease froward movement, along pre-excavated trench
  • Designed to be installed by the excavator and lower in place technique
  • ‘Hog-back’ struts available for increased clearance
This two-sided trench application is ideal when installing utility pipes in non-urban environments where the ground is self-supporting and ground movement is non-critical.
