Introducing MGF's Technical Sales Representative for South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire

Dean has become a familiar face for our customer base, providing technical support and assistance.

I’m based out of the Yorkshire depot, my day to day role is to provide my support to our customer base across my area, covering Sheffield, Doncaster, Lincoln, Huddersfield and Wakefield. I co-ordinate with our internal departments from our Engineering Centre to our Fleet team to ensure the best possible service is received from the moment we get the enquiry through to the delivery of our products on site for both our new and existing customers. My role is customer centred, I aim to deliver the best service MGF can offer.

Everyday is different, whether it is working from the depot raising design briefs and quotations, or being out and about chasing down leads and visiting existing customers and sites.

I previously worked for 18 and a half years for a formwork supply company, both in an operational and sales function. Unfortunately, the role came to an end, and luckily for me, I was offered the opportunity at MGF after meeting with our Regional Sales Manager – North West & Yorkshire, Eamonn Hughes.

When it comes to projects, I don’t really have a preference on which type I get involved in. I take as much pleasure being able to offer my service and assist a customer on a project supplying boxes, as well as getting more technically involved in the larger cofferdam scheme. It’s seeing a project from start to finish, rather than the type of project.

Building a good, trustworthy working relationship with our customers is the most important aspect of the role. If a customer can trust that you can solve one of there issues on site, then hopefully, the customer will return again and again.
